MORE MAUI AND LUAUS

We just wanted to share some of the other photos we got on our trip. We thought it would be a nice treat for us and our amazing photographer, Daniela, to attend a Hawaiian Luau the night before our wedding to celebrate. It was a beautiful experience.

Our trip to Maui was beyond words. It was more than just a trip ... it provided unique adventures (swimming with roughly a dozen sea turtles in the wild ranked near the top), a chance to see a dear, dear friend after nearly a decade apart, and most of all, it marked the beginning of our lives together. For Kevin and I, Maui will always hold a very special place in our hearts!

SPECTACULAR MAUI, HAWAII

We landed in Maui this past Monday and have been on the go ever since. It is astonishingly beautiful here and we wanted to post some photos to share. They span most of the island. From the pristine beaches and spectacular sunsets of South Maui to the heights of Haleakala with its fog shrouded pasturlands, otherworldly peaks and rare silversword plants to the impossibly green Hana Coast, nothing here seems to disappoint and everything begs to be explored.

Also included is a photo of Purple Bill and Greeny. They are our travel companions and we love to take photos of them in exotic locations. We almost lost them yesterday over the edge of a very tall waterfall, narrowly averting disaster :-). Our wedding will be Tuesday and we will be shooting for two days ... more photos to come.
